He added that he pays his way and doesn't bother anyone up here. <br /> <br />Mayor Cdlbertson informed Mr. Laws he is not alone in this problem as there are other <br />residents who have complained of the snowmobilers blatant lack of respect for other <br />persons ,property. <br /> <br />Mr. Laws stated that they come across the center of his driveway and he's tired of trying to <br />get things done with no results. There is no respect for private property and they do not <br />asked permission. He stated he wouldn't grant permission anyway because he doesn't <br />want to be held liable if anything happened. <br /> <br />Mayor .Oilbertson stated that some people probably think Mr. Laws property is park <br />propemf because of the water tower and suggested that he keep posting his land. <br /> <br />Mr. LaWs stated that the easements are for public utilities and he's sick of all of this. He <br />stated he is "not going to be run out of here". <br /> <br />Councilrnember Hardin stated that Council may need to re-look at the present snowmobile <br />ordinance.and maybe "tighten it up". <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer stated she can sympathize with Mr. Laws as she has the same thing <br />happening in her yard. She thinks it is "kids" and their disregard for private property. <br /> <br />Mr. Laws inquired what good it does to establish anything if the City is not going to <br />enforce it, <br /> <br />Mayor Oilbertson stated that the snowmobile club has invited the Police to talk to them at a <br />club me~ting about responsible snowmobiling. He also recommended that the Police "look <br />at" Mr. Laws property. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to direct Staff <br />to schedule a public heating for the purpose of reviewing the snowmobile ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Beyer, Peterson <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None.. <br /> <br />Case #1: Improvement Project #92-20 (Bituminous Surfacing of Bison <br /> Street N.W. from 171st Avenue N.W. to 173rd Avenue N.W. <br /> and Improvement Project #92-23 (Bituminous Surfacing of <br /> Bison Street N.W. South from 171st Avenue N.W. to the <br /> Northern Boundary of Trott Brook Ridge Addition) <br /> (Continued) <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated, for clarification purposes, that Council closed the public <br />hearing regarding the northern half of Bison Street N.W., and the hearing regarding the <br />southern half will reconvene at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Case #2: Adopt Ordinance Amending the B-2 Business District <br /> Regulations <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that on January 26, 1993, Council introduced an <br />ordinance :to amend the B-3 Business District regulations to maintain consistency with <br /> <br />City Council/February 9, 1993 <br /> Page 5 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
