Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adopt ResolutiOn #93-06-109 receiving bids and awarding contract for Improvement Project g93- 10 through 693-09 (1993 Street Maintenance - crack filling) to Astech Corporation in the amount ~ $21,945.06. Motion carriod. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Zimmerman, Beyer and Peterson. Voting No: None. Motion by C0uncilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adopt Resolutioll #93-06-110 receiving bids and awarding contract for Improvement Project g93- 01 through ~)3-07 (1993 Street Maintenance - Sealcoating) to Allied Blacktop in the amount of $66,533.36. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Zimmerman, Beyer and Peterson. Voting No: None. Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adopt Resolution #93-06-111 receiving bids and awarding contract for Improvement Project 093- 08 and ~3-09 (1993 Street Maintenance - overlay) to W.B. Miller in the amount of $50,103. Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Zimmerman, Beyer and Peterson. Voting No: None. Case #6: Adopt Ordinance Vacating the Section of 162nd Lane N.W. between Dysprosium Street N.W. and Germanium Street N.W. in Barthel's Rum River Acres 2nd Addition City Adm~inistrator Schroeder stated that in 1982, the City entered into an amended develop ~ment agreement with the developers of Barthel's Rum River Acres 2nd Addition. Under ~ amended agreement, the City agreed to vacate the section of 162nd Lane N.W. between Dysprosium Street N.W. and Germanium Street N.W. This vacation has not yet taken pla0e. A public hearing was held on May 25, 1993 and no public opposition was stated. This ordinance was introduced at that time. Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt Ordinanc,* ~3-08 authorizing vacation of street right-of-way of 162nd Lane N.W. between Dysprosium Street N.W. and Germanmm Street N.W. ~n Barthel s Rum River Acres 2nd Addition. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Beyer, Peterson and Zimmerman. voting No:. None. Case //7: Adopt Ordinance Repeahng the Requirement of Precinct Liaison Meetings between City Council and Ramsey Residents. City Administrator Schroeder stated that a public hearing was held on May 25, 1993 regarding repealing the requirement of precinct liaison meetings between City Council and Ramsey residents. No public opposition was stated at that time. Council, in January, had reques.ted.'that the requirement of precinct liaison meetings be reviewed by the Charter Commisglf)n because of the lack of attendance by the residents.
