This ordinance is now eligible for adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Ordinancei~ff39,13 reducing the side yard setback for the uninhabitable portion of structures <br />in the R-I lJr~ Residential District to six (6) feet. <br /> <br />Motion ogrried. Absent: Couneilmember Hardin. <br /> <br />Case 08: Introduce Proposed Ordinance to Sell Lot 6, Block 2, <br /> , Gorham's Sandy Acres <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that earlier this year, Council approved a Community <br />Develop..t~. nt ,Block Grant (CDBG) project which consists of allocating approximately <br />$17,900 ~ the. Anoka County Community Action Program (ACCAP). The stipulation <br />associated .~ith the allocation was that ACCAP would use the funds to purchase a lot in the <br />City of Ra!nsey. ACCA~.. would then construct a home on the lot for which a moderate <br />income f~fil~' y ~Would quahfy for a home mortgage. The selected parcel on which the home <br />will be d ~0~¢~1-o .IJed is Lot 6, Block 2, Gorham's Sandy Acres. It is necessary for the City to <br />introduce ~ adopt an ordinance authorizing the sale of the property. <br /> <br />Motion b~ Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />introduce Se ordinance authorizing the sale of Lot 6, Block 2, Gorham's Sandy Acres. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: CouncilmemberHardin. <br /> <br />Case 09: Authorize Award of Contract for Land Use, Transportation and <br /> Shoreland Planning <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder presented the responses for the proposals sent out for <br />consulting; ~ervices. He stated that the lowest bidder on the transportation element, BRW, <br />is also the ~ requested by Anoka County to revise the County Transportation Plan. This <br />plan upda~w~ requested by the Metropolitan Council as a contingency of receipt of a <br />Ramsey MIgSA, Therefore, the County will be requesting City participation toward the <br />update. I-Ieiexplained that the lowest bidder on the Land Use and protection elements is <br />RLK. He ~tated that Council previously authorized the above studies but had not <br />designated ~om what fund or source the City portion will be encumbered.
