Absent: CouncilmemberHardin. <br /> <br />Case #10: Application for Lawful Gambling Premises Permits <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the City has received two applications for premises <br />permits bom charitable gambling organizations. The first one is for Minnesota <br />Bowhunters to conduct a raffle at the Armstrong Kennels Game Fair. The second <br />applicafloh is from CLIMB Theatre, Inc. to operate paddlewhe¢ls at J.R.'s. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the amount of money the City receives from gambling <br />organizations. Councilmember Zimmerman suggested that each applicant give a set amount <br />of money to the City as opposed to a percentage. He directed Staff to bring back an <br />ordinance; to that effect, He also suggested scheduling a meeting with all the people <br />involved 'with the charitable gambling. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gilbertson and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adopt <br />Resolufi0gt ~93-07-153 granting a premises permit to Minnesota Bowhunters to conduct a <br />raffle at the Armstrong Kennels Game Fair. <br /> <br />Motion cart_fi.
