He asked that the City not assess his and <br />the other l~roperty owners for Mr. Gobernatz's future. <br /> <br />Tom King, property owner along 177th, stated that if the assessment was around $2,200 <br />but withot~t Mr. Gobernatz, it increases to about $2,500, and he subdivides later and-then <br />has to payl he inquired if that would be paying the same assessment twice. <br /> <br />Mr. JankoWski stated the dollars would be put into a fund to pave other City streets. <br />Mayor Oiibertson inquired what if Mr. Gobernatz does not subdivide. <br /> <br />Councilm~mber Hardin suggested putting the money into a fund for sealcoating this same <br />street. <br /> <br />Mr. Sankowski stated that could be done or the City could refund money to the people also. <br /> <br />Mr. Longfield felt the refund was a good idea, however, people move away and the next <br />owner wo~ld benefit and would not have paid. <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br />Il <br /> <br />Mayor Oilbertson suggested writing that refund amount into the selling price. <br /> <br />Mr. Longfield reiterated that Mr. Gobernatz's payment should be deferred. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to close <br />the pub]iclhearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer and <br />Hardin. Voting No: None.
