I I I I I I Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to grant site plan appr~, val to Mike's Woodworking for an expansion to 'the storage facility on Lot 4, Block i, l~neview Estates 2nd Addition P.U.D. Motion csyried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer, Hardin and Peterson. Voting No: None. Case #10: Request for Final Plat Approval of Juniper Woods 3rd Addition; Case of Dick Knutson, BLH Development Co. Zoning .A, .dministrator Frolik stated that BLH Development Company is requesting final plat of the thhkl and final phase of Juniper Woods. The third addition consists of 29 single family lob and the manmade pond constructed in the second addition occupies a portion of Block 2 of this third addition. The developer is proposing to provide the construction of sewer, wa~'r ,and streets as a private project with no financial participation on the part of the City. Shelexplained that the development agreement also proposes to credit the developer for chargos assessed to extend sewer and water to Juniper Woods. The amount of the credit w~Ibe {:ollected from the developers of Amber Ridge subdivision. Park dedication was addre~ sed in the fu'st phase of Juniper Woods and was to consist of land conveyance and a cash contribution in the amount of $7,300.00. The land conveyance has been accompli~ed; however, the cash contribution has not been made. The development agreement for this third addition proposes to collect the $7,300. Ms. Frolik stated the developer !s in agreement with this. Motion by' Couneilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt Resolutio! ~)3-09-181 granting final plat approval to Juniper Woods 3rd Addition contingentiupon compliance with City Staff Review Letter dated August 17, 1993. Motion carried, Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin and zimm~rman. Voting No: None. Case #11~: City of Ramsey's Payable 1993 Proposed Property Tax Levy and Budget Public Hearing Date Finance Officer Hart stated that State Statutes requires municipalities to certify, before Septembe~ 15, their maximum tax levy. She informed the public that the Finance Committe~ met on Monday, September 13, 1993 at 7:00 a.m. to finalize their recommen41afion for the City of Ramsey's Payable 1994 Proposed Maximum Property Tax Levy ($98~),663). Ms. Hart also listed the dates available for the City of Ramsey to conduct it'~ 1994 public budget hearing. Motion bYi COUncilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to schedule t3~e Oty of Ramsey's initial budget public hearing date on Wednesday, December 1, 1993 ati7:00 p.m. and a reconvene date (if necessary) on Wednesday, December 8, 1993 at 7:00 p.m. Further di~ussion: Councilmember Beyer stated she cannot make either of those dates because of!pri°r commitments with her job; however, she suggested Council keep those dates because there are not that many dates available to schedule such hearing.
