Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer, <br />Hardin and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #10: Request for Final Plat Approval of Juniper Woods 3rd <br /> Addition; Case of Dick Knutson, BLH Development Co. <br /> <br />Zoning .A, .dministrator Frolik stated that BLH Development Company is requesting final plat <br />of the thhkl and final phase of Juniper Woods. The third addition consists of 29 single <br />family lob and the manmade pond constructed in the second addition occupies a portion of <br />Block 2 of this third addition. The developer is proposing to provide the construction of <br />sewer, wa~'r ,and streets as a private project with no financial participation on the part of the <br />City. Shelexplained that the development agreement also proposes to credit the developer <br />for chargos assessed to extend sewer and water to Juniper Woods. The amount of the <br />credit w~Ibe {:ollected from the developers of Amber Ridge subdivision. Park dedication <br />was addre~ sed in the fu'st phase of Juniper Woods and was to consist of land conveyance <br />and a cash contribution in the amount of $7,300.00. The land conveyance has been <br />accompli~ed; however, the cash contribution has not been made. The development <br />agreement for this third addition proposes to collect the $7,300. Ms. Frolik stated the <br />developer !s in agreement with this. <br /> <br />Motion by' Couneilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolutio! ~)3-09-181 granting final plat approval to Juniper Woods 3rd Addition <br />contingentiupon compliance with City Staff Review Letter dated August 17, 1993. <br /> <br />Motion carried, Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin <br />and zimm~rman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #11~: City of Ramsey's Payable 1993 Proposed Property Tax Levy <br /> and Budget Public Hearing Date <br /> <br />Finance Officer Hart stated that State Statutes requires municipalities to certify, before <br />Septembe~ 15, their maximum tax levy. She informed the public that the Finance <br />Committe~ met on Monday, September 13, 1993 at 7:00 a.m. to finalize their <br />recommen41afion for the City of Ramsey's Payable 1994 Proposed Maximum Property Tax <br />Levy ($98~),663). Ms. Hart also listed the dates available for the City of Ramsey to <br />conduct it'~ 1994 public budget hearing. <br /> <br />Motion bYi COUncilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to <br />schedule t3~e Oty of Ramsey's initial budget public hearing date on Wednesday, December <br />1, 1993 ati7:00 p.m. and a reconvene date (if necessary) on Wednesday, December 8, <br />1993 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Further di~ussion: Councilmember Beyer stated she cannot make either of those dates <br />because of!pri°r commitments with her job; however, she suggested Council keep those <br />dates because there are not that many dates available to schedule such hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
