He stated he would be more concerned about <br />getting the old house on the property torn down instead of tarring the storage parking area. <br />He addexl, ithat his company is the Fleetwood Collision Center which is a retail collision <br />repair shop. He added there will not be motor homes stored on the property. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to grant <br />site plan approval to the expansion of the Top 10 Center with the secured parking area <br />being p~x~ed and curbed with bituminous materials in the third phase and contingent upon <br />the applicant entering into a Site Plan Development Agreement with the City. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Mr. Jankowski stated that the storage area will have a fence around it <br />so bituminous curbing there is acceptable. Mr. Touchette stated he is hoping that phase <br />three will ~aappen in two years. Councilmember Zimmerman stated that Mr. Touchette has <br />made an improvement to the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion Can'ied. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Zimmerman, <br />Beyer and Hardin. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #18: McKinley Street Right-of-Way <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that some time ago, the City started negotiations with <br />property Owners to purchase right-of-ways with regard to the eventual completion of <br />McKinley Street N.W. Final acquisition of this property would bring to conclusion the <br />issue of:easement utilization without adequate ownership by the City. This does not <br />conclude the discussion of who should build and pay for the street, when that should <br />occur, ~d what rights and responsibilities fall upon the City throughout the process. Mr. <br />Schroeder stated that appraisals have been completed and he asked Council to authorize the <br />right-of-way acquisition. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adopt <br />Resolution #93-10-245 authorizing acquisition of fee simple interest of certain real estate <br />for utilities and future extension of McKinley Street N.W. <br /> <br />Motion Carried.
