Mayor Crilbemson turned this portion of the Council meeting over to Councilmember <br />Peterson. <br /> <br />Finance iOfficer Hart stated this is a routine premise permit renewal for the Anoka Area Ice <br />Arena Association. They are completely in compliance with the City's ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt <br />Resolution g93-11-267 approving Anoka Area Ice Arena Association application for a <br />premise permit for lawful gambling at JR's Saloon and Food in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Hardin and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br />Abstain: Mayor Gilbertson. Absent: Councilmembers Beyer and Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Couneilmember Peterson turned the meeting back over to Mayor Gilbertson. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Revoke City of Ramsey Motor Vehicle Sales License Issued to <br />Robert C. Wojcik, dba Ramsey Auto Sales <br /> <br />Police Chief Auspos stated that the City of Ramsey has been informed by the State of <br />Minnesota that it has cancelled the Motor Vehicle Sales License issued to Robert Wojcik, <br />dba Ramsey Auto Sales, due to cancellation of his surety bond. Chief Auspos explained <br />that according to City Code, this is cause to revoke the City of Ramsey Motor Vehicle <br />License. He added that this is the second time Mr. Wojcik has failed to maintain a surety <br />bond. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to revoke the <br />City of Ramsey Motor Vehicle Sales License issued to Robert Wojcik dba Ramsey Auto <br />Sales. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson and Hardin. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmembers Beyer and Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Case g"/: Review Proposed Ordinance to Amend Sign Regulations <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik presented Council with the most recent version of the sign <br />ordinanc, and stated if there are no more recommendations from Council, she will send it <br />back to thc Planning and Zoning Commission to conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to direct the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission to conduct a public hearing regarding the proposed sign <br />ordinance [.as it is now drafted. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmember Hardin and Peterson. <br />Voting NO: None. Absent: Councilmembers Beyer and Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Case #8:1 Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. Ski Hill Report <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that a draft plan has been drawn up regarding the use <br />of the 50 acres Waste Management is offering the City in lieu of the ski hill. The Park and <br />Recreation Commission has reviewed the draft plan and has given concept approval. The <br />Park/Utilities Coordinator has been directed to work with the Landfill Manager to achieve a <br />concept plan that WMMI is is in agreement with.
