Voting Yes: Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer, Hardin and Peterson. <br />Voting No: Mayor Gilbertson. <br /> <br />Case g/A: Adopt Ordinance to Sell Lot 3, Block 5, Beaudry's Second <br /> Addition <br /> <br />City Admj'nistrator Schroeder stated that at the Council meeting of October 26, 1993, <br />Council authorized the purchase of Lot 3, Block 5, Beaudry's 2nd Addition, for <br />$8,807.55. 'At that time, a public hearing was scheduled for November 9, 1993, for the <br />proposed Sltle of this lot to the Anoka County Community Action Program (ACCAP). The <br />ordinance' Was introduced at that time. On November 23, 1993, this ordinance was <br />presented ~0r adoption, however, Council expressed concern about whether or not this lot <br />was build,Ire and Staff was directed to have a soil boring and perk test completed. This <br />has been done and Council has received the report. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and Seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />adopt Ordinance #39-19 selling Lot 3, Block 5, Beaudry's Second Addition in the City of <br />Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Zimmerman stated his reason for requesting the soil <br />borings be done was to get the water table. This would show ACCAP that some fill may <br />be needed!in order to make the lot buildable. He felt the Building Official could handle it <br />from this point. <br /> <br />Motion car~ed. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Zimmerman, <br />Beyer and[Hardin. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #8: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder summarized the recommendations of the Personnel <br />Committ~. <br /> <br />Motion by :Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />approve the end of the probationary period for Accounting Clerk Linda Mayer effective <br />December!6, 1993, as per the terms of the AFSCME bargaining unit contract and to retain <br />her as a full-time regular employee. <br /> <br />Motion car, s'ed. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Zimmerman, <br />Beyer and[- Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />approve the end of the probationary period for Finance Officer Jessie Hart effective <br />December '14, 1993 and to retain her as a full-time regular employee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Zimmerman, <br />Beyer and PeterSon. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by,Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to offer <br />the position of patrol officer to Bradley J.
