Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR <br />PAID ON-CALL FIRE FIGHTERS <br />WHEREAS, twelve paid on-call Fire Fighters began working for the City on <br />November 29, 2006 and December 13, 2007 and were subject to a one-year probationary <br />period; and <br />WHEREAS, the new Fire Fighters will have completed the required one-year <br />probationary period and the necessary training as of November 29, 2006 and <br />December 13, 2007; and <br />WHEREAS, at its December 11, 2007 meeting, the City Council accepted the <br />Personnel Committee's recommendation to end the probationary periods and grant status as <br />paid on-call Fire Fighters to the following individuals on the following dates: <br />Carey Schiferli <br />Michael Nielson <br />Donald Yamauchi <br />Robert Tiegen <br />Jacob Hanson <br />David Weigman <br />November 29, 2007 <br />November 29, 2007 <br />November 29, 2007 <br />November 29, 2007 <br />November 29, 2007 <br />November 29, 2007 <br />Justin Borer December 13, 2007 <br />Bart Hayft December 13, 2007 <br />Kyle Hemmerich December 13, 2007 <br />Andrew Johnson December 13, 2007 <br />Shane Swedeen .December 13, 2007 <br />Lance Weatherly December 13, 2007 <br />IvTOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOI~A COUNTY, STATE OF 1VIINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel <br />Committee to end the probationary periods and grant status as paid on-call Fire Fighters to the <br />following individuals on the following dates: <br />Carey Schiferli <br />Michael Nielson <br />Donald Yamauchi <br />Robert Tiegen <br />Jacob Hanson <br />David Weigman <br />November 29, 2007 <br />November 29, 2007 <br />November 29, 2007 <br />November 29, 2007 <br />November 29, 2007 <br />November 29, 2007 <br />Justin Borer December 13, 2007 <br />Bart Hayft December 13, 2007 <br />Kyle Henunerich December 13, 2007 <br />Andrew Johnson December 13, 2007 <br />Shane Swedeen December 13, 2007 <br />Lance Weatherly December 13, 2007 <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember ,and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />-15 6 - Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the l la' day of December 2007. <br />
