Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />CONSIDER AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE <br />PAID-ON-CALL FIRE FIGHTERS <br />WHEREAS, staff would like to bring the City to a full complement of Fire Fighters for <br />the Burns Station; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has requested that the Personnel Committee make a motion <br />recommending that the City Council hire the following two individuals as paid-on-call. Fire <br />Fighters: Vicki Harrington and Jason Blood; and <br />WHEREAS, these individuals would be hired at an hourly wage of $12.50 and would <br />begin employment on December 12, 2007; and <br />WHEREAS, these individuals have successfully completed all background checks and <br />medical exams. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RA1~~ISEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINI~TESOTA, <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br />Hire the following two individuals aspaid-on-call Fire Fighters: Vicki Harrington and <br />Jason Blood. These individuals would be hired at an hourly wage of $12.50 and would <br />begin employment on December 12, 2007.
