being in a City is not the right place. He did not think they should be subjected to this type of
activity.

Mr. Steve Will, 8144 144th Avenue, respected Mr. Grueber's business and he understood the City
is in the growth mode by promoting activity and business. He thought this came down to the
location and if this is in the right area. He did not think it fit into the location and he wondered if
it would really encourage growth or would it discourage growth. He stated he did not want this
in his community.

Ms. Dianne Maciver, 8044 142nd Avenue, stated she did not understand the thought process
regarding bringing business to the City. She stated she was against this and did not think this
was the type of activity they want to bring into their city. She thought this would be something
that would be frustrating to residents. She stated Bill & Nancy Wright's, 7884 142nd Avenue
NW, main concern was the value of their property. Bob and Karen Brown 7854 142nd Avenue,
were also concerned about the noise and their property value and felt this would bring down the
property value.

Ms. Lisa Peterson, 14401 Armstrong Boulevard, stated their taxes are already high and she is
worried about the resale of their property. She stated she sleeps during the day and weekend and
works at the hospital on rotating shifts. She stated she was also concerned about the wildlife
habitat that may be lost. She was worried that the noise may not be restricted to only the
weekends or would there be noise on Thursday and Friday. She stated she was concerned with
the highway access to Diamonds because it is already dangerous. She also wondered where the
trailers and trucks will be stored during the events. She stated she was opposed to this because of
the noise, it is unsafe and she wants to keep the serenity of the neighborhood.

Ms. Bree Plessel, 7913 142nd Avenue, thought Mr. Grueber has been unable to provide the
information requested and felt this should be denied based on that fact.

Ms. Sue Reynolds, 7028 127th Lane, stated they live east of Diamonds so whatever dust is blown
up comes straight at them and they will not like that or the noise.

Mr. Douglas Jones, 7030 137th Lane, agreed with the others in their negative views and was also
against this. He stated he was not against the other events because they will be less intrusive or
loud. He did not know how the one year trial would work with the investment Mr. Grueber will
be required to make. He requested this be denied.

Motion by Commissioner Nixt, seconded by Commissioner VanScoy, to close the public
hearing.

Motion Carried.
