<br />Phase 3 Elmcrest Park - $70,000 <br /> <br />Drinking Fountains -.$7,000. <br /> <br />Community Building for Elmcrest Park - $500,000 <br /> <br />Commissioner Barr wondered what the plans will be for the buildings. <br /> <br />Parks Supervisor Riverblood stated it will be similar to the Central Park building but they should <br />provide for some public meeting spaces. They also need to receive Council approval to move <br />forward with the project, thentalk to the anticipated users for needs. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shryock thought they previously talked about a rural, farm theme for the building. <br /> <br />Parks Supervisor Riverblood stated they need to address that question. <br /> <br />Commissioner Barr thought this is a wonderfu1.thing for the community. <br /> <br />Fishing Pier at Riverdale Park - $28,000 <br /> <br />Emerald Pond - Restroom and Water Svc - $35,000' <br /> <br />Commissioner Barr wondered with the restrooms, what about cleaning them. <br /> <br />Parks Supervisor Riverblood stated they are going to look into this to seehow they will be <br />cleaned and who will do that. <br /> <br />Riverdale Park Improvements - $45,000 <br /> <br />Parks Supervisor Riverblood stated the bulk ofthis expense is irrigation for the park. <br /> <br />Development of Sunfish Lake Park - $300,000 <br /> <br />Landscape Improvements for Parks - $5,000 <br /> <br />This is a new item in the Capital Improvement Program. This is for landscaping improvements <br />in parks and ramping up the volunteer program in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns stated she would like to have this as a priority on their list every year because <br />it is important like the drinking fountains. <br /> <br />Urban Trail Connections - $150,000 <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commission/January 10,2008 <br />Page 6 of9 <br />
