Court Time <br />An Employee who works the "C or "D" shift shall receive a <br />minimum of three (3) hours pay at two (2) times the Employee's <br />base pay rate if the Employee is required to appear in court prior to <br />1:00 p.m. that same day. <br />Investigator <br />Pay <br />$225 /month <br />Proper Separation Fourteen days notice <br />Notice <br />Funding Source <br />The 3% COLA was approved as part of the 2008 General Fund Budget and the slight <br />increase in Investigator Pay will be absorbed by the General Fund Budget The 3% <br />COLA for 2009 will be included in the 2009 General Fund Budget which will be <br />presented to the City Council for consideration later this year. <br />The health insurance proposal for the 100 % single plan is slightly different than what was <br />proposed for non -union employees. The revised proposal will cost the City an additional <br />$5,000 organization wide. There are funds in the 2008 budget to absorb the additional <br />cost for the 100% single plan. Staff will be presenting a separate resolution asking the <br />City Council to adopt the revised health insurance contribution for non -union employees. <br />Committee Action <br />Consider making a motion recommending that City Council approve the above - listed <br />changes to the City's labor agreement with LELS- Patrol.
