I <br /> <br />Consensus bf th~ Commission was that Mr. Boos should seek Budget Committee approval to <br />proceed wi~ 19~2 Capital Improvements and possible completion of the paving of Central Park's <br />parking lot [~fiori~o the Ramsey Community Picnic which is scheduled for June 13, 1992. Commission was to recommend that the City Engineer and the Parks/Utilities <br />Coordinatodimpl,L'ment a plan to create base maps for Ramsey's developable parks. <br /> <br />Case #5: ! 1992 Goals Implementation and Tracking <br /> <br />Chairperson~ Het~nd stated that his intent, with regard to the goals, is that each Commissioner <br />would adop~a goal and give a status report periodically at the meetings. <br /> <br />The Comm~mon, proceeded to review each goal. Following are the comments and assigned <br />person or C0mm~ si°ner' <br /> <br />1: Rev~w the ordinances regarding park dedication. Assigned to: Parks/Utilities <br /> CoogdinStor Boos. Comment or Status: Will do it mid-year. <br /> <br />2: Initiate a: program resulting in park development in new subdivisions and phase <br /> dev~iopment of existing subdivisions. Assigned to: Chairperson tletland. <br /> Com~me~ or Status: On-going, but don t have a program. Mr. Boos <br /> men[ion~d special park assessments for each new subdivision. When the <br /> Co~mis~[ion reviews the five-year plan, ways to restructure this can be <br /> looked ~t. <br /> <br />3: Review t~c policy of trail development for new housing subdivisions and phase <br /> dcv~opnicnt of existing subdivisions. Comment or Status: Deals with the <br /> Conf~Preilensive plan. <br /> <br />4: Worl~ on a~ trail corridor between the City of Anoka and River's Bend Park with the intent <br /> to es~,abli~ a corridor during 1992 with possible construction in 1993. Assigned to: <br /> Par .gs]Utilities Coordinator Boos. Comment or Status: Mr. Boos stated he <br /> has ~tte~ded joint meetings where the point of focus is to create a corridor <br /> along Co~_nty Road /t116. This plan originated between the City of Ramsey <br /> and ~the {2ity of Anoka Councilmembers.
