Trail Dedications The City requires a payment for trail dedication. This charge is normally paid <br />at time of recording of final plat; however, this charge was not collected for this plat. The current <br />rate is $1,090.00 per acre for Trail Dedication. The fee totals $1,591 for the property. The <br />City's comprehensive trail plan shows a future trail adjacent to Armstrong Boulevard. <br />Installation of a trail segment is not required with this application, but consideration should be <br />given for a future corridor with the proposed Armstrong Boulevard reconstruction next year <br />REU Number: This property will be subject to a storm water utility charge. The quarterly <br />charge is dependent upon the number Residential Equivalent Units (REU) calculated for this <br />property. The Residential Equivalent Unit (REU) is a method of assessing accurate quarterly <br />usage charges for stormwater management. The REU is based on percent of impervious surface <br />coverage, and has been determined to be 4.82, resulting in a quarterly charge of $165.48 for <br />2008. The rate will change at the first of the year, and on an annual basis. <br />The City Council will be meeting at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 1 3th at the Ramsey Municipal <br />Center (7550 Sunwood Drive), to review your site plan.
