Case <br /> <br />~Rgquest for a Conditional Use Permit to have Horses on Less than <br />three (3) Acres; Case of James Paulzine <br /> <br />Zoning Admi'nistmtor Frolik stated that Mr. James Paulzine brought two horses onto his property <br />at 16350 AlpaCa Street N.W. not realizing the City Code requirements regarding the maintenance <br />of horses. City OMc states that a conditional use permit is required in order to maintain up to two <br />horses on patcels',ranging from 1.5 to 3.0 acres in size; Mr. Paulzine's property is approximately <br />2.04 acres ia ~izg and is located in the R-1 Rural Residential Zone. Ms. Frolik stated that the <br />Horse Care {26m ~..~ssion and the Planning and Zoning Commission have reviewed Mr. Paulzine's <br />request and a~ r~ommending approval of the CUP. <br /> <br />Motion by Q.o~un~lmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt Resolution <br />g92-03-048 $Oop!ing Findings of Fact g0306 relating to Mr. Paulzine's request for a conditional <br />use permit t6maifitain two horses on less than three acres at 16350 Alpaca Street N.W. <br /> <br />Motion cart'i¢&.: Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer and <br />Zimmerman; Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberHardin. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />R~tquest for a Conditional Use Permit to Establish a Manufacturing <br />~Facility in the B-3 Business District; Case of Stephen Franta, Canvas <br />Craft <br /> <br />Zoning Adn~aistrator Frolik stated that Mr. Stephen Franta of Canvas Craft is proposing to <br />construct a ~i472 square foot facility on Lot 2, Block 3, Alpaca Estates for the purpose of <br />manufacturilil~ b~t covers and portable fish houses. The subject property is zoned B-3 Business <br />and manufa6[itriag is not a permitted use in that district. Mr. Franta has applied for a CUP to <br />conduct mala~ifa0turing operations in a B-3 Business District. Ms. Frolik reported that the <br />Planning and.' Zoning Commission reviewed Mr. Franta's request and is recommending approval <br />of the conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Motion by EOflnallmember Peterson and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adopt Resolution g92- <br />03-050 adolffing Findings of Fact #0307 relating to Mr. Franta's request for a conditional use <br />permit to co~id~act manufacturing operations in a B-3 Business District. <br /> <br />Motion carded.
