Case #4: ~ Request for Site Plan Approval; Stephen J. Franta, Canvas Craft <br /> <br />Zoning Admi_ ~nis~ator Frolik stated that Stephen Franta of Canvas Craft is requesting site plan <br />approval to ~ns0'uct the facility to manufacture the boat covers and portable fish houses. The <br />Planning anfl'iZol~ing Commission reviewed Mr. Franta's site plan request and directed him to <br />make a couple oErevisions. She added that Mr. Franta revised his site plan and is in compliance <br />with City C~ requirements. <br /> <br />Motion by C0un¢ilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve Mr. <br />Stephen Fra~'s '~quest for site plan approval to construct a manufacturing facility for Canvas <br />Craft on Lot 2, l~lock 3, Alpaca Estates contingent upon submittal of a certified lot survey and <br />revised site l~ .l~n ~d with waivers to locating the loading bays on the rear wall of the facility and <br />curbing the ibod~g bay maneuvering area. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer and <br />Zimmerman, .Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Hardin. <br /> <br />Case #5: Request for Site Plan Review of the Links Clubhouse; Case of Glenn <br /> Rehbein Excavating, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Glenn Rehbein Excavating, Inc. has submitted an <br />application ~ si~ plan approval to construct a clubhouse at The Links Golf Course on Lot 10, <br />Block 3, Nort. hfofk 5th Addition - The Links. She stated all City Code requirements have been <br />met and upoa review of the site plan, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended <br />approval. <br /> <br />Motion by Co~ Uncilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to approve Glenn <br />Rehbein ExCavating, Inc.'s proposed site plan for development of a clubhouse at the Northfork <br />Links Golf Course. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Beyer, Zimmerman and <br />Peterson. VOting'No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberHardin. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Re, quest for Final Plat Approval of Wood Pond Hills; Case of Dick <br />Knutson, WPH Properties, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning Ad~igis~ator Frolik stated that Wood Pond Hills consists of approximately 72 acres <br />proposed to ~ subdivided into 135 lots. The plat is proposed to be developed in four phases. At <br />this time, th{ developer is requesting final plat approval of Phase I which consists of 32 lots. Ms. <br />Frolik added iha~City Staff is recommending granting final plat approval of Wood Pond Hills <br />contingent upon Submittal of a modified grading plan indicating sediment control and house pad <br />elevations arid that the plat not be released for recording until them is an executed development <br />agreement l~twe, en the City and the developer. She suggested that Council could form a <br />subcommitt~[of ~a,o members to review the development agreement; therefore, approval could be <br />granted now.so asnot to hold up the development. <br /> <br />Consensus of the :Council was that Councilmembers Peterson and Zimmerman would review the <br />developmen~ agreement. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution/g92-0~-052 granting final plat approval to Wood Pond Hills and that the plat not be <br />released for~ecOrding until the developer provides a modified grading plan and enters into a <br />developmenl~ a~greement with the City. <br /> <br />City Council/March 24, 1992 <br /> Page 5 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
