Motion by t2ou~cilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to approve the <br />amendment;to the development agreement regarding street lighting for Chestnut Hills Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Beyer, Peterson, Hardin and <br />Zimmerman. :Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by ,Ooun. cilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to approve the <br />amendment to the development agreement regarding ornamental street lighting for Cedar Hills <br />Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Beyer, Peterson, Hardin and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case //8: Introduce Ordinance Amending Chapter 2 of the Ramsey City Code <br /> Regarding Council, Boards and Commissions <br /> <br />City Admi~$traWr Schroeder stated that at the last Council meeting, it was decided that the <br />members of-~e ~onomic Development Commission could be 1/3 non-resident property owners° <br /> <br />Motion by Coulacilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to rescind <br />Councilmem. Bet Peterson's prior motion and Councilmember Beyer's prior second to the motion to <br />allow for non~:residents to serve on the Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />Further disclassion: The non-residents now serving on the EDC will be allowed to serve out their <br />term. Countn. lmember Zlmmerman stated he is disappointed with this motion and felt business <br />owners should have the chance to participate on this Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer and Hardin. <br />Voting No: CJouncilmember Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Case g9: Land Detachment/Annexation with the City of Anoka <br /> <br />City Admin[st~rator Schroeder stated that in September 1991, at a joint Anoka and Ramsey City <br />Council me¢Ong,' it was agreed to detach the property in the City of Ramsey just south of the <br />intersection of C01~nty Road #47 and County Road #116 and annex the triangular parcel just north <br />of ParaBodg 0ff I!ighway #10 and an exchange of the two between the two cities. <br /> <br />Motion by .Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Resolution <br />#92-04-076 authorizing up to $500.00 in expenditures in order to complete the land <br />detachment/annexation with the City of Anoka. <br /> <br />Motion carded, Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Beyer, Peterson, Hardin and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case gl0: Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. Lawsuit (closed) <br /> <br />Case #11: ~Request for Extension to 90-Day Time Frame for Resolving Use <br /> ACtivity on Property Located at 14600 Nowthen Boulevard N.W. <br /> <br />Zoning Admitlistrator Frolik stated she neglected to submit Mr. Dinnetz's case for the Council <br />agenda and a~ked,;in lieu of Staff error, for an extension to the time frame for the resolving the use <br />activity on the Property located at 14600 Nowthen Boulevard N.W. <br /> <br />City Council/April 28, 1992 <br /> Page 7 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
