Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: ~ R~quest for an Amended Conditional Use Permit for Danny's <br /> AIhminum Processing, Inc.; Case of Dan Karst. <br /> <br />Zoning Aden nis~l/ator Frolik stated that Daniel Karst has applied for an amendment to his <br />conditional ~ ;e t~'mit to allow for the disassembly of engines and transmissions within the <br />existing bui~ ng~n the site, which is proposed to be expanded and, in accordance with the terms <br />of the condi~ )n~ use permit issued in 1990, the use of his adjacent parcels for exterior storage <br />purposes. O~ Sr~ptember 1, 1992, the Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public <br />hearing and t~c :o ~n~e_nded City Council approval of the conditional use permit amendment and site <br />plan. A dis0~, ?io~?~ ensued regarding the findings of fact and they were amended as follows: <br /> <br />#26 - That use will substantially adversely impair the use, enjoyment or market value <br />of any Add g40 - That the amended conditional use permit would address <br />the of the current CUP and put the use into compliance: a) Disassembly of <br />engines and ' ' within a building, b) Outside storage of debris or materials not used in <br />or resulting processing operation, c) Overdue annual emissions test (which has <br />now been d) Outside storage on Lots 2 and 3 without providing for required screening, <br />and e) of afterburner on second melt furnace; #27 ~.n..~. ........ .~ ....... :, ~.~ <br /> <br /> ; #30 - <br />That the use wilt-not may create excessive additional requirements at public cost for <br />l~ services; Add 041 - That since November of 1989, 30 complaints are on record <br />regarding Aluminum Processing.
