<br />Public Works Director Olson advised that did not mean that those were lost opportunities. He <br />advised that when future development takes place the City could certainly discuss those things <br />with the Church. <br /> <br />Commissioner Backous advised that he was present at the Council worksession, as the Chairman <br />of the Parish Council. He thought from the Church's prospective that this was a very good <br />agreement. He advised that they would be open to discussions in the future as well. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shryock was glad to see this come through. She explained that the intent for the <br />Commission to delay the decision was so that collaboration like this could be made, where the <br />City gets what it is looking for and the. Church does as well. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shryock, seconded by Commissioner Barr, to recommend park <br />dedication and trail fees be satisfied per the agreement with the Applicant. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Johns, Commissioners Shryock, Barr, Erickson, <br />Hansen, and LaMere. Voting No: None. Abstaining: Commissioner Backous. Absent: N9ne. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Park Dedication for Ebony Woods <br /> <br />Civil Engineer IT Linton advised that Tim Holm has submitted a sketch plan to split an existing <br />residential lot and create three single-family lots. The site is located on Ebony Street just south <br />of Superbowl. He advised that Council did approve this site for two lots with single family <br />homes and stated that the sidewalk was already in existence. He stated that staff recommends <br />park dedication for Ebony Woods be satisfied with a cash contribution of $4,950 (2 units @ <br />$2,475). Trail fees should be satisfied with a cash contribution in the amount of <br />$1,200 (2 units @ $600). <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaMere, seconded by Commissioner Shryock, to recommend that park <br />dedication for Ebony Woods be satisfied with a cash contribution of $4,950 (2 units @ $2,475) <br />and the trail fees be satisfied with a cash contribution in the amount of$1,200 (2 units @ $600). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: None. <br /> <br />COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />Parks Supervisor Riverblood advised that any change to Commissioner contact information <br />should be submitted to him. He advised that they had also discussed the Savannah Trail with the <br />Alpine Park project. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Olson reported that the streetscape project is underway, and advised that <br />the digging started today. He advised that within the next five weeks they would go from the <br />Municipal Center to Cobourn's and then to Ramsey Boulevard. He stated that by the end of <br />summer Sunwood Drive should look a lot different. He advised that although they have not <br />gotten approval for the rail station they are getting closer.
