<br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO fiRE <br />A PATROL OFFICER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the need to fill the vacant Patrol Officer position has been carefully <br />evaluated, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 10, 2008 the City Council authorized staff to begin the recruitment <br />process to fill the Patrol Officer position; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an internal recruitment process was conducted and one application was <br />received and one applicant was interviewed. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />Hire Drew Moldenhauer as the City's new Patrol Officer, effective July 1, 2008, at an hourly <br />wage of$20.82. All personnel polices will apply normally. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member, <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 24rd day of June 2008. <br /> <br />cc: 06/24/08 <br /> <br />-134- <br />
