Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE <br />ANACCOUNTANT I <br />WHEREAS, the City's former Accountant Lresigned from her position effective <br />Apri128, 2008 and <br />WHEREAS, on April 22, 2008 the City Council authorized staff to begin the <br />recruitment process to fill the soon-to-be vacant Accountant I position; <br />WHEREAS, a recruitment process was conducted and 58 applications were <br />received. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br />Hire Denelle Johnson as the City's new Accountant I, effective August 4, 2008, at an <br />hourly wage of $21.18. All personnel polices will apply normally. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, ,and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 22"d day of July 2008. <br />-90- <br />
