Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: . <br />Resolution #08-0$-_ . <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT TO RES SPECIALTY <br />PYROTECHNICS FOR PYROTECHNIC SERVICES RELATED TO 2008 <br />HAPPY DAYS <br />WHEREAS, the Happy Days Committee has recommended that the Happy Days <br />festival enter into a contract with RES Specialty Pyrotechnics for pyrotechnic services of <br />for the 2008 Happy Days Festival; and, <br />WHEREAS, total payment as stated in the contract is $7,000; and, <br />WHEREAS, RES Specialty Pyrotechnics shall provide pyrotechnic services on <br />Saturday, September 13th, 2008 at 9 p.m.; and, <br />WHEREAS, the pyrotechnic show shall be choreographed to a soundtrack <br />provided by and broadcast live on BOB FM (106.1 FM). <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes payment of payment to RES <br />Specialty Pyrotechnics for pyrotechnic services for the 2008 Happy Days festival. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember ,and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 12th day of August 2008. <br />-106- <br />
