CONSENT CASE # <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT TO MUSIC WORKS FOR THE <br />ENTERTAINMENT SERVICES OF THE KILLER HAYSEEDS RELATED TO 2008 <br />HAPPY DAYS <br />By: Tim Gladhill, Associate Planner <br />Background: <br />The Happy Days Committee has recommended that Happy Days enter into a contract with Music <br />Works to provide the Killer Hayseeds as the Headlining Band for 2008. The popularity of the <br />band necessitates the need to enter into the contract in excess of one year in advance. <br />A deposit in the amount of six-hundred dollars ($600) has already been paid for the <br />entertainment services. The remaining $2,900 needs to be paid prior to the .event. Staff is <br />recommending that money be authorized for this event. <br />Funding Source: <br />Happy Days sponsorship. donations. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends approval of Resolution #08-08-_ authorizing payment to the Killer <br />Hayseeds for entertainment services at Happy Days 2008. <br />Council Action: <br />Motion to approve Resolution #08-08-_ authorizing payment to the Killer Hayseeds for <br />entertainment services at Happy Days 2008. . <br />Review Checklist: <br />City Administrator <br />CC: 8/12/08 <br />-107- <br />
