Consider developing a newsletter specifically for landowners in the WHP area, which <br />could highlight a variety of issues including storage tanks. <br />12. Ensure that tank owners in the WHP area are receiving Tank Monitor, the MPCA=s <br />newsletter for regulated tank owners. <br />13. Set up displays on the WHP program at special events or on a long-term basis. <br />Measures to be Taken Through Services: <br />1, Work with owners of smaller, unregulated tanks on the Farm*A~°Syst and Home*A*Syst <br />programs to reduce their. risk of a release or spill from, their tanks. <br />2. Offer workshops on conducting a farm or home assessment for interested farmers and <br />homeowners. <br />3, Act as a local source of information grid assistance.for meeting regulatory requirements. <br />4. Send reminder entices to owners. of new tanks about tank regulations and the importance <br />of early leak detection. <br />S.
