City Attorney Goodrich noted there is a 16 inch sewer line which the City Engineer has indicated <br />is adequate to handle this facility and that the ponding will adequately handle the runoff. <br /> <br />Council consensus was reached to accept the following finding of fact based on staff and public <br />input received tonight: <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will be operated and-maintained so as to be harmonious and <br />appropriate in appearance with the existing or intended character of the general vicinity <br />and such use will not adversely effect the essential character of the area. <br /> <br />15. That the proposed use will be adequately served by essential public services. <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will not create additional requirements at public cost for public <br />facilities and services. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman noted the City is also not contributing any TIF funds. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated he called the County and learned that about $63,000 of taxes will be <br />generated from this use without the transfer station. <br /> <br />Council consensus was reached to accept the following finding of fact based on Staff and public <br />input received tonight: <br /> <br />17. That the proposed use will not be detrimental to the economic welfare of the community. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated finding of fact #18 can be rewritten to remove the word <br />"disturbing" since any or alt businesses could be disturbing to someone. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman noted all activity will occur inside the building so it will not be <br />disturbing. <br /> <br />Council consensus was reached to accept the following finding of fact based on Staff and public <br />input received tonight: <br /> <br />18.
