CASE # <br />CONSIDER JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR IP 08-37, <br />COUNTY POND STORM SEWER OUTLET <br />By: Leonard Linton, Civil Engineer II <br />Background: <br />The Ramsey Town. Center Project was approved in 2003.. The storm water plan called for <br />creating a series of linked regional ponds on the site, eliminating the need for small ponds in <br />.each neighborhood of the project. The plan also included a storm sewer outlet from the ponds to <br />the Mississippi River. <br />The City Council approved. advertisement for. bids on October 28, 2048 and will consider <br />awarding the bids under a separate case tonight. The .pipe will be placed across property owned <br />by Anoka. County Parks. <br />The. attached Joint Powers Agreement will allow access to the property so the pipe can be <br />installed. <br />Funding Source: <br />..There is not a direct cost for the Joint Powers Agreement. The City will be responsible for <br />general maintenance of the trail until the park is developed by Anoka County Parks.
