Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #08-12-XXX <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH ANOKA .COUNTY <br />FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #08-37, COUNTY POND STORM SEWER OUTLET <br />WHEREAS, on December 4, 2008 the Ramsey City Council awarded bids for Improvement <br />Project 08-37 County Ponds Storm Sewer Outlet, and; <br />WHEREAS, The project will be constructed on property owned by Anoka County, .and; <br />.WHEREAS, The County and the City have negotioated a Joint Powers Agreement providing <br />access to the site for installation of the the pipe. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into <br />the Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County .for construction of IP 08-37 County <br />Pond Storm Sewer Outlet. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember _ <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />whereupon said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />9th day of December 2008. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-12-XXX <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />-216- <br />
