Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Report Regarding Special Election for Anoka County Commissioner <br /> <br />Ms. Ott stated that the turnout was low for the special election; however, the election went well. <br />Ms. Ott reviewed the election statistics with Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson read the resolution presented for adoption commending Ms. Ott and the election <br />staff on their commitment and dedication to the election process. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to adopt Resolution <br />#91-03-064 commending the City's election staff. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Hardin, Beyer and <br />Cich. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Report from Negotiating Committee <br /> <br />Ms. McAloney reported that the City of Ramsey Negotiating Committee consisting of <br />Councilmembers Beyer, Hardin and Peterson and Personnel Coordinator McAloney met to <br />discuss wages and benefits for exempt employees for 1991. The increase for City contribution for <br />insurance went from $195 to $230 per month. The holidays were increased from 10.5 to 11 days. <br />The increase to wages are as follows: salary grades 1 through 3 = 4.5%; salary grades 3.5 through <br />5.5 = 4%; salary grades 6 through 7.5 = 3.75% and salary grade 8 = 3.5%. She added that all <br />positions will be reviewed by the Personnel Coordinator and Department Heads within the next six <br />months. If adjustments are identified to bring positions comparable to the Stanton Group Five <br /> <br />City Council/March 13, 1991 <br /> Page 4 of 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
