Mayor Gilbertson called the meeting back to order at 8:08 p.m. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve the <br />following items on the Consent Agenda: <br /> <br />1) <br />2) <br /> <br />3) <br />4) <br />5) <br /> <br />6) <br />7) <br /> <br />8) <br /> <br />9) <br /> 10) <br /> 11) <br /> <br /> 12) <br /> <br /> 13) <br /> <br />14) <br /> <br />15) <br /> <br />16) <br />17) <br /> <br />Approve license applications <br />Adopt Resolution g91-05-094 approving accounts payable transactions for the period April <br />15, 1991 through May 3, 1991;. <br />Receive report of cash flows for the period ending April 30, 1991;. <br />Receive General Fund Interim Financial Report as of April 30, 1991;. <br />Receive letter from Joe and Mary Jo Sentyrz thanking the Council for their consideration <br />and action on behalf of the property owners near the Adult Bookstore;. <br />Approve gambling organization license application of the Ramsey Lions Club;. <br />Adopt Resolution #91-05-095 ending the probationary period for Senior Accountant Mary <br />Gomez;. <br />Adopt Resolution g91-05-096 ending the probationary period following a promotion for <br />Receptionist/Network Support Kathleen Johnson;. <br />Adopt Resolution ~)1-05-097 approving the proposed education policy;. <br />Adopt Resolution #91-05-098 offering City Administrator position to Ryan Schroeder;. <br />Receive copies of letters from Personnel Coordinator to Rodney Nelson and John Goode <br />notifying them of their appointments to the Charter Commission;. <br />Adopt Resolution #91-05-099 declaring surplus property and authorizing public sale by <br />sealed bid;. <br />Approve request of the Ramsey Lions Club for a one day 3.2 beer license on Saturday, <br />June 8, 1991 (rain date of June 9, 1991) for the 5th Annual Ramsey Community Picnic at <br />Central Park and waive the license fee;. <br />Schedule Road and Bridge Committee meeting at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 1991 to <br />discuss land acquisition for extension of 153rd Avenue N.W. <br />Adopt Resolution g91-05-100 authorizing use of City truck by Ramsey Lions Club for <br />surplus food distribution to low income individuals;. <br />Receive City-wide Curb side Recycling Report for January - April, 1991;. <br />Authorize Personnel Coordinator to advertise for vacancy on Economic Development <br />Commission;. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Comprehensive Parks Plan Update <br /> <br />Mark Boos, Parks/Utilities Coordinator, highlighted some of the revisions that had been made to <br />the Comprehensive Parks Plan and asked City Council to adopt it. <br /> <br />Mrs. Helling added that the Park and Recreation Commission and Mr. Boos intend to review items <br />of this plan in June and present it back to City Council with the revisions as necessary. <br /> <br />Mr. Ron Hetland, Chairperson for the Park and Recreation Commission, requested City Council <br />give conceptual approval of the proposed updated Comprehensive Parks Plan. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt Resolution <br />#91-05-101 adopting the parks plan update. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Cich and <br />Hardin. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Boos stated that some time ago a Bond Issue Committee was established and he felt the status <br />of this Committee should be addressed. <br /> City Council/May 14, 1991 <br /> Page 5 of 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
