<br />~d- <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />Topic Report: Chapter 9 Multi-Family <br />Residential Development Standards <br />By: Patrick Trudgeon, AICP, <br />Assistant Community Development Director <br /> <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />During recent discussions about multi-family developments, the City Council brought <br />forward issues regarding the design, location, and density of the pl,"oposed developments. <br />It was decided that at a future work session, the City Council would review the current <br />regulations and direct staff to make any necessary changes to the City Code. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />Staff has included the current regulations regarding residential development that were <br />adopted in June, 2002 for your review. It should be noted that the Ramsey Housing <br />Committee will be looking at strengthening design standards for residential developments <br />at their August 21 st meeting. <br /> <br />Action Statement: <br /> <br />Based on Council's discussion, direct staff to research and write amendments to the <br />Chapter 9 Residential Development Codes as determined necessary. <br /> <br />CCWS 7/29/03 <br />
