The ultimate <br />goal is to meet parity with other cities in 1992. She feels that performance reviews will create more <br />disparity and 6% is a cost of living raise. The current cost of living increased 7% and she read by <br />the end of the year it will be 10 to 12%. <br /> <br />Ms. McAloney reiterated that all positions are going to be reviewed. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hardin asked if the Union prefers not to have performance appraisals done. <br /> <br />Ms. Rogers replied they prefer to put the performance increase on hold at this time. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the amount of time and work will go into the perfon-nance reviews. <br /> <br />The meeting recessed at 5:35 p.m. to allow the Councilmembers to review the proposal presented <br />to them. <br /> <br />The meeting reconvened at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Councihnember Hardin commented that they would like to get the negotiations resolved; however, <br />they are not comfortable with everything presented. <br /> <br />Negotiating Committee/February 19, 1991 <br /> Page 4 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
