<br />Ms. Doran stated that she suggests a fall, teaser, kind of event to be held indoors to introduce <br />everyone to the concept. She stated that it could be kicked off at Happy Days and announce <br />what is coming next year. She stated that their farmer's market is a whole package and noted <br />that there is a fee involved. She gave the fee information to Assistant City Administrator Nelson. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig asked where the farmer's market would be setup. <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson stated that they are thinking the eastern wall under the <br />canopy near the ramp would be a good location. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig asked if there were any concerns about Coborns. <br /> <br />Ms. Doran stated that they would want Coborn's to be involved and thinks they would love this. <br /> <br />Ms. Lacher stated that non-profits and community education can be involved and noted that it is <br />a great incubator program for local businesses also. <br /> <br />Ms. Doran stated that ideally, they would have a total of 15 or 20 vendors and about half would <br />be farmers and the others would be complimentary vendors. <br /> <br />There was a consensus by the Council to support a farmer's market and kick it off in the fall. <br /> <br />1) Highway 10 Revolving Acquisition Loan Fund (RALF) Priorities <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson stated that they want to bring the Council up to date on the <br />status of ongoing RALF projects and where things are for 2009. <br /> <br />Jodie Ruehle of The Tinklenberg Group stated that they are making progress on the two <br />acquisitions still remaining. She stated that they are working with MnDOT to make sure the <br />wording in the Purchase Agreement with Holiday StationStores is okay. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that they received a message from Holiday today, so he expects <br />things to start moving quickly towards closing. <br /> <br />Ms. Ruehle stated that the Auto Ranch had some additional environmental work done and she <br />has asked about the next steps after the soil boring information is received. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that he should have some information on relocation within our <br />map area sometime in the next week. <br /> <br />Ms. Ruehle stated that the purpose of tonight's discussion is to talk about priorities for future <br />projects. She stated that the interested parties remain the same. She stated that Mr. Bialon is still <br />very interested in selling as well as the ICO property and Mr. Deal who owns the Pro Sporting <br />Goods store.
