Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to add the following
findings: "That the proposed use does not meet the specific requirements of the B-W Business
Zoning as it exists.

Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Deemer, Terry, Hendriksen,
LaDue and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Bawden.

Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to amend #38 to read
"That the proposed use will not be hazardous or disturbing to existing or future neighboring uses".

Further discussion: Commissioner Terry stated that if the area is zoned B-W, the use would have
to be compatible with retail activity and he feels this use may be disturbing to retail. Commissioner
Thomd inquired as to how the Commission could be sure it would not be disturbing to future uses.
Commissioner Deemer stated that Mr. Rychner's business would already be there and if future
businesses felt the aluminum processing business would be disturbing to their business, they
would decide on a different site for their business. Commissioner Thomd argued that it is not
possible to vote on impact to future uses if the Commission doesn't know what they are. Ms.
Frolik stated that the words "or future" could be stricken from the findings.

Motion by Commissioner Terry and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to amend the motion so
that #38 will read "That the proposed use will not be hazardous or disturbing to existing
neighboring uses".

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Terry, Deemer, Hendriksen,
LaDue and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Bawden.

Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to amend #39 to read
"That the proposed use will be a substantial improvement..."

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Deemer, Terry, Hendriksen,
LaDue and Thorud. Voting No: None.
