07~__ amending City Code with the addition of Section 7,15 (Rental Residential Dwelling <br />Units) of City Code regarding the licensing of rental housing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, Elvig, Cook, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #11: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance for a Six Month Extension to the Development <br />Moratorium on Highway #10, West of Armstrong Boulevard NW <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated that on June 24, 2003, the City Council <br />introduced an ordinance for a six-month extension of the development moratorium on certain <br />parcels located north and south of T.H. #10, west of Armstrong Boulevard NW. The purpose of <br />the moratorium extension was to protect the planning process while MnDOT, Anoka County and <br />Hennepin County complete the Scoping Document related to the Northwest Metro Corridor and <br />River Crossing Study. The purpose of the study is to consider long-term options to address the <br />relief of congestion on the highway corridors and Mississippi River crossings. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to adopt Ordinance #03- <br />07- to extend the development moratorium on certain parcels located in Section 29 of the <br />City of Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota for an additional six months. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig abstain <br />Councilmember Strommen aye . <br />Councilmember Kurak aye <br />Councilmember Cook aye <br />Councilmember Zimmerman aye <br />Councilmember Pearson abstain <br />Mayor Gamec aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #12: Request for Vacation of Easements; Case of Oak Creek Builders <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald stated that the City Council introduced an ordinance to vacate drainage <br />and utility easements that were platted as part of the Lutz Ramsey Acres Plat on June 24, 2003. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt'Ordinance <br />#03-07- to vacate certain drainage and utility easements in Lutz Ramsey Acres subdivision. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />City Council/July 8, 2003 <br />Page 25 of 30 <br /> <br />P85 <br /> <br /> <br />
