4.3 Residential Roadway <br />4.3.1 Residential Roadway Discussion <br />The issue of discussion for this item related to the definition of the term ``residential <br />roadway" and its application to short roadways rather than portions of roadways (see <br />Section 3.3 of this report): The task force agreed that for roadways which can be <br />properly categorized as residential roadways the speed limit should remain at 2S <br />MPH. , <br />4.3.2 Recommended Statute Text <br />The task force recommends that 169.14, Subd. 2(a)(7) remain as is: <br />(7) 25 miles per hour in residential roadways if adapted by the road authority <br />having jurisdiction over the residential roadway. <br />Page 24 <br />-179- <br />
