<br />Community Development Director Miller noted that property owners were notified. She <br />distributed information on the agreement for additional parking stalls with a neighboring <br />business. She noted that the other area businesses are closed on Sundays and Thursday evenings <br />when the assemblies will be taking place. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Resolution #09- <br />04-076, Adopting Findings of Fact #0841 relating to the request for an Interim Use Permit. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey and Councilmembers Look, Elvig, Dehen, Jeffrey, <br />McGlone and Wise. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Special Evens Permit of North West Radio Control Club <br /> <br />Associate Planner Timothy Gladhill reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Councilmember Look asked for an explanation of what the $600 escrow funds are for in the <br />Interim Use Permit (IUP) process. <br /> <br />Management Intern Gladhill explained how these funds are used. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig expressed his concern about the fly zone area. <br /> <br />Management Intern Gladhill stated that the fly zone will need to be located on Mr. Pearson's <br />property. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen stated his concerns about the noise this will generate. He stated that he <br />feels the neighbors should be able to have input before the Council grants approval. <br /> <br />Management Intern Gladhill stated that there will be a public hearing if this moves forward in the <br />IUP process. <br /> <br />Steve Johnson, 14520 Junkite Street NW, stated that he is president of the North West Radio <br />Control Club and gave some history on their organization and where they have flown before. He <br />noted that they have very specific guidelines and regulations of where they can fly and they will <br />not fly near the Bowers Drive residents.
