I feel
you need to widen TH 47 or/and TH 10. I have lived here for 18 yrs and those two major
roads have always been a problem.

Please leave my house alone and help slow traffic on Dysprosium Street.

The plan to route TH 47 through Lord of Life & Dysprosium/Thurston Avenue creates a
bigger problem slowing the thru-put of vehicles due to the signal light at Fair Oak
ho lding traffic back. If this is the chosen route, a bridge through the property (King's
Island) to the west of the old Maple Lodge site and east ofihe mobile home park across
the river. The farther east route will be better for traffic flow.

Use Thurston Avenue as TH 47 bypass. Use CSAH 57 (Sunfish Lake Boulevard) as the
second TH 47 bypass.

TH 47 cannot handle the job. Need alternate route at Dysprosium/Thurston Avenue.

Have TH 47 go down Dysprosium. '

Turn Thurston & Dysprosium into four-lane TH 47.

Why not route TH 47 on Thurston Avenue, which already has a bridge over the railroad?

We would like to see TH 47 rerouted to Thurston A venue, and have the present portion
ofTH 47 given back to Anoka as a city street.

Reroute TH 47 to Thurston A venue.

Use Thurston as an alternative to TH 47.

Directly connect Thurston Avenue to TH 47.

Why wasn't CR 56 considered?

McKinley Street should go through to relieve trucks.

A rumor of a few years ago was that TH 47 would go to CSAH 7. A version of an eight-
lane TH 10 would not have a ramp for TH 47 because it would be too close to the CSAH
Ramp. '

Need to improve CSAH 5 from Ramsey Blvd to TH 47 to four-lanes withleft turns. Turn
lanes from Ramsey Blvd to CSAH 22.

It seems like additional alternative routes are needed so everyone does not needto go
through these three areas to get anywhere. (ie additional area to cross over the
Mississippi, additional area to cross over the Rum River, better way to get over the
railroad tracks on TH 47.)

Congestion

I have traveled the road for over 15 years and it keeps getting worse every year. I drive
to MPLS everyday, and the worst part (and longest) is from TH 10 up TH 47 to my
house. I now take CSAH 7 all the up to CR 27 and back down to avoid the section
between the fairgrounds and CSAH 116. Coming home is the worst and I can't for the
life of me understand why you do not open TH 47 up from two lanes to four between
CSAH 116 to Alpine Drive. You made the road wide enough, but you refuse to make

k: ;.(!
