<br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />CONSIDER A RESOLUTION PROMOTING A PATROL OFFICER TO <br />PATROLfflUPPORTSERVICESSERGEANT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sergeant Jeff Katers became the manager ofthe Anoka County <br />Central Records system in March of2009; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Some of Sgt. Katers' other responsibilities were assigned to other <br />staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff is having difficulty managing the additional duties assigned to <br />them; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the police chief recommended that staff be authorized to promote a <br />patrol officer to patrol/support services sergeant. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council of the .City of Ramsey promotes Officer Gary V oit to <br />patrol/support services sergeant, effective August 12,2009. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 11 th day of August, 2009. <br />
