H. The Board may from time to time adopt and amend rules of procedure for the purpose of carrying out its duties consistent with this Agreement. . L The Board shall not own any equipment or buildings, nor shall it acquire any assets. If any assets do come into its possession via grant or otherwise, the assets shall be used as the Board deems best to carry out the objectives of this Agreement. 3. FIRE EQUIPMENT, BUILDINGS, AND PERSONNEL. A. During the term of this Agreement, Ramsey shall make the following building and equipment available for emergency fire and rescue response in the area of the City of Nowthen and the City of Ramsey covered by this Agreement: i. The fire stations located at 15050 Armstrong Boulevard and 15153 Nowthen Boulevard in Ramsey. ii. Fire apparatus consisting of a minimum of an engine, tanker, rescue and wildland apparatus, such vehicles to be those which Ramsey normally keeps at its Armstrong Boulevard fire station. iii. Miscellaneous fire fighting and emergency rescue equipment Ramsey routinely keeps at the Armstrong Boulevard Fire Station. - ---- B. During the term of this Agreement, Nowthen shall -make the --following building and equipment available for emergency fire and rescue response in the --area of the City of Nowthen and the City of Ramsey covered by this Agreement: i. The fire station located at 19888 Nowthen Blvd in Nowthen. ii. Fire apparatus to be acquired by Nowthen during the term of this Agreement consisting of a tanker, a pumper of sufficient design and capacity to permit delivery of the emergency response services required by this Agreement. iii. Miscellaneous fire fighting and emergency rescue equipment as such items are acquired by Nowthen. It is the intent of this Agreement that Nowthen will acquire such equipment as it deems necessary, in consultation with the Board and the Fire Chief, to properly deliver the emergency response services required by this Agreement. 4
