emergency in its respective jurisdiction take precedence over the emergency in <br />the other jurisdiction. <br />C. All equipment and personnel covered by this Agreement may be utilized to <br />assist any neighboring fire department as set forth in any agreement of mutual <br />aid entered into between the City of Ramsey and a neighboring fire <br />department. <br />D. With the exception of mutual aid contracts, neither Nowthen nor Ramsey shall <br />enter into any agreement with another City to provide fire service during the <br />term of this Agreement, unless one parry has already served notice on the other <br />party to terminate this Agreement early. <br />FUNDING AND FEES FOR SERVICES PROVIDED <br />A. Nowthen shall annually budget for and provide adequate funding to maintain <br />its fire station, all apparatus and equipment it is providing under this <br />Agreement, and all charges for personnel and fire or rescue apparatus that <br />Ramsey will bill Nowthen under this Agreement. <br />B. Ramsey shall annually budget for and provide adequate funding to maintain its <br />fire stations, its fire department personnel, all apparatus and equipment it is <br />providing under this Agreement, and all fire or rescue apparatus charges that <br />Nowthen will bill Ramsey for under this Agreement. <br />C. In each instance in which Nowthen sends a fire truck, rescue vehicle, or any <br />other vehicle listed on the attached Exhibit A in response to an emergency call <br />in Ramsey, Ramsey shall pay Nowthen on an hourly basis for each vehicle <br />which responds to such emergency in Ramsey. The hourly rate for such <br />equipment shall be those rates shown on the attached Exhibit A. All charges <br />shall be billed to the nearest one-quarter of an hour. <br />D. In each instance in which Ramsey sends a fire truck, rescue vehicle, or any <br />other vehicle listed on the attached Exhibit A in response to an emergency call <br />in Nowthen, Nowthen shall pay Ramsey on an'hourly basis for each vehicle <br />which responds to such emergency in Nowthen.
