We in community education are <br />dedicated to lifelong learning, involving people and improving communities. Our philosophy is to <br />utilize school and community resources to provide opportunities for lifelong learning, recreation <br />and positive growth for individuals, families and communities. <br /> <br />This report provides an overview of the program, which is the result of the support of the City of <br />Ramsey, its residents and the Anoka.Hennepin School District Community Education Department. . <br />This program includes youth activities, facility use and staff time at the Ramsey elementary school. <br />The statistical and descriptive summaries below are summaries of more detailed annual reports. <br /> <br /> <br />Site <br />Ramsey Elementary <br /> <br />Offered <br />110 <br /> <br />Participants <br />5534 <br /> <br />Participants <br />19,257 <br /> <br />Summer <br /> <br />37 <br /> <br />710 <br /> <br />N/A <br /> <br />Descriptive Summary: This program includes a variety of arts, skills, enrichment, recreational <br />and general interest classes and activities for preschoolers through teens and many special events <br />and activities. Facility use includes tournaments, community athletic practices, civic groups, <br />trainings, special community events, and many other a~tivities._ <br /> <br />Community Education also provides funding for these sites, which results in more classes/activities, <br />more quality staff, a more cost effective program and a - stronger program for the Ramsey <br />community. Working together is the key to success for providing programs and services for our <br />communities and we appreciate your support and look forward to a positive and rewarding <br />partnership as we serve the Ramsey community. <br /> <br />Please note that the report reflects data from the 2007/2008 school year and not a calendar year.
