COMMITTEE / STAFF INPUT Councilmember Dehen stated he was contacted by a resident who had a concern regarding the septic he was installing. The resident stated the City asked that he sign an indemnification agreement, holding the City harmless if there are any problems with the installation. Councilmember Dehen requested a discussion on the requirements for indemnification agreements for septic system installation and whether there are any legal ramifications that the City could be found liable for work done by any individual. Also, whether or not the City wants to allow people who are not certified to install systems. Councilmember McGlone stated his concerns regarding sidewalks and asked if the City has a written agreement addressing when sidewalks should be installed, noting he would like to review the City ordinance. He requested guidelines be developed on sidewalks and trails. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Chair Elvig, seconded by Councilmember McGlone, to adjourn the Public Works Meeting. Motion carried.
