<br />Cost <br /> <br />The HKGi/MSA team will prepare a construction cost estimate based on the design <br />development drawings. Project costs will be summarized per line item based on a <br />summary of quantities tabulated from the plans. The cost estimate will inform design <br />decisions and material choices. <br /> <br />Document <br /> <br />Upon completion of the 50% design development documents, we will conduct a 50 % <br />review of the drawings with City staff. We will review the set for code compliance and <br />clarity of the documents. The comments received will be incorporated into further <br />refinement of the design development drawings. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Upon receiving comments from City Staff on the 50 % design development set review, the <br />HKGi/MSA team will prepare a 100% design development drawing set. <br /> <br />Cost <br /> <br />The final design development drawings will provide the foundation for preparing a final <br />construction cost estimate and ensure the project is being designed with established <br />budgets for various components and phases of the project. <br /> <br /> <br />We will meet with and coordinate with City Staff during the course of design development <br />to review progress of design development and the documentation set. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The HKGi/MSA team will prepare presentation graphics from the design development set . <br />and present final design development to the City Council, Steering Committee and Parks <br />and Recreation Commission to seek comments on the drawings and gain approval of the <br />design development phase of the work. <br /> <br />8. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION <br /> <br />Upon completion and approval of the design development documents, the HKGi/MSA <br />team will prepare all of the documents necessary to bid and construct the East Meandering <br />Commons Park project. Construction documents will clearly illustrate detailed site <br />plan( s), layout information, materials, structures, grading and drainage concepts, planting <br />concepts, site lighting, irrigation, signage and construction details necessary to implement <br />the approved design. It is our understanding that the City Engineering staff will provide <br />final drawings for grading and drainage plans.
