<br /> <br />will include the area immediately adjacent to and including the amphitheater, the pedestrian <br />. bridge west of, and connecting to the amphitheater, and the immediate trail connections to the <br />amphitheater. It is understood that the consultant will design for the areas identified above to <br />include landscaping, lighting, irrigation, structural design to accommodate a standard <br />prefabricated pedestrian bridge, structural design for the amphitheater pond wall! retaining wall, <br />sidewalks, and trails. It is further understood that city staff will be providing engineering design for <br />the storm sewer system and the amphitheater. We have assumed that amphitheater facilities <br />designed by the city will include the design base file line-work for seating walls, steps, <br />pavements, grading and drainage, railings, ramps and other accessible features. <br />· Utilizing base mapping provided by the city, prepare final design construction plans per the <br />assumptions above <br />· Document final sustainable design strategies <br /> <br />2.2 Soecifications: <br />· Prepare a project manual, including technical specifications for consultant-designed elements <br />· Incorporate technical specifications for engineering design elements as prepared by city staff <br /> <br />2.3 Estimate of Construction Costs: <br />· Prepare an opinion of probable cost (engineer's estimate) for consultant-designed elements <br /> <br />2.4 Aoorovals: <br />· Coordinate approvals with reviewing agencies <br /> <br />2.5 Biddina Administration: <br />· Submit final plans and specifications to the city for distribution and bidding administration <br />· Respond to bidder inquiries and assist city staff with addenda preparation <br />· Provide bid tabulations and provide letter of recommendation for award <br /> <br />2.6 Meetinas: <br />II Participate in up to three (3) staff design review, team coordination meetings, or agency approval <br />reviews <br /> <br />Deliverables: Construction documents, project manual with technical specifications and bidding <br />documents, engineer's estimate, bid tabulations, and a letter of recommendation for award <br /> <br />Additional Services (Extra services requested within the RFP) <br />Task 3: Construction Services <br />3.1 Construction Administration: <br />· Respond to city and contractor inquiries <br />· Review and process submittals <br />· Prepare proposal requests and review responses <br />II Review and advise on contractor change orders <br />· Review and approve contractor's monthly pay and final payment requests <br />· Review and document implementation of sustainable design strategies <br />· Monitor contractor's testing and monitoring of new systems and provide summary reports <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br /> <br />n Kimley-Hom <br />U and Associates, Inc. <br />
