<br />PC CASE # ~ <br /> <br />CONSIDER ENDING PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br />FOR THE CITY ENGINEER <br /> <br />Givonna Reed Kone, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background_ <br /> <br />Tim Rimmer, City Engineer, was promoted by the City on April 14, 2009. Mr. Rimmer <br />has successfully completed the required six-month probationary period as the City <br />Engineer and the Public Works Director recommends retaining Mr. Rimmer as the full- <br />time regular City Engineer. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Based on satisfactory completion of the sixth-month probationary period, staff <br />recommends that Tim Rimmer be retained as the City Engineer. <br /> <br />Funding Source . <br /> <br />The City Engineer position is included in the 2009 General Fund Budget and there are no <br />additional funding requirements to remove Mr. Rimmer from probation. <br /> <br />Committee Action <br /> <br />Make a motion recommending that the City Council adopt a resolution ending the <br />probationary period for Tim Rimmer and granting status as a full-time regular City <br />Engineer. <br /> <br />Reviewed By: <br /> <br />)(6~ () <br /> <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />.
