FORESTClTY

RESIDENTIAL

City of Ramsey Town Center Proposal

A wide variety of housing
choices will accommodate
everyone from singles to
seniors and first-time buyers
to empty nesters. There will be
a large number of affordable
housing choices available.
Stapleton's planned 1.2,000
homes and apartments will
create new and exciting living
opportunities for more than
30,000 residents. We project
there will be 50 to 75 new
households moving in every
month for the next l5 years.
June 2002 was the move-in
date for the first residents.

RETAIL

-

w;

~,:;=

Homes and offices at Stapleton will be within walking distance of one of five planned town centers
providing more than 3 million square feet of retail space. The first retail center, Quebec Square, which
features Home Depot, Office Depot, Sam's Club and Super Wal-Mart, opened in June 2002. In 2005,
Stapleton's second regional retail center, the l.l million square foot Northfield at Stapleton opened.
Northfield is an open-air lifestyle retail and entertainment center which is anchored by Super Target,
Macy's Department Store, Harkins Theaters and Bass Pro Shops-one of its first stores in the western
region-in addition to numerous other retail, restaurant and lifestyle uses. Northfield also has 3l,8l0 sf
of office space.

OFFICE

Ten million square feet of office space is planned
for the Stapleton community. The first large
office development will be One Tower Center,
and is planned to surround the old Stapleton
Control Tower, which will remain as a future public
observation tower. Parks and Open Space Parks
and open space define many of Denver's great
neighborhoods. Building on this legacy, nearly 30
percent of Stapleton's land is devoted to parks and
open spaces. To date, office space has opened in
both the E. 29th Town Center and 3055 Roslyn.

~
