LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />August 20, 2009 <br />Payment of Bills <br />Page 2 <br />Treasurer's Report <br />Yager presented the Treasurer's Report for the period ending July 31, 2009. Account balances <br />for the period were: Checking $32,023.54; less permit balance of ($4,276.47) for a total balance <br />Of $27,747.07. <br />Motion was made by Vierzba, seconded by Anderson, to accept the Treasurer's Report for <br />the period ending July 31, 2009. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />Yager presented the payment of bills forTimeSaver in the amount of $816.79 (services rendered <br />in July of 2009), Barr Engineering in the amount of $5,924.90 (services rendered in June and <br />July of 2009), Kennedy & Graven in the amount of $447.54 (legal services), George Pieper in <br />the amount . of $4410.00< (permit refund), ' NAU Country Insurance in_ the amount of $490.00 <br />(permit :refur d) CTT Properties in the amount of $530.00 (permit refiind), and City of Ramsey <br />in the amount of $604.00 (permit refund). <br />Haas inquired about the 4/14/09 _ Kennedy & Graven legal service charge in the amount of <br />$90.75: "Phone call from B. Goodrich regarding effect of appointment of city engineer." <br />Jankowski replied this charge relates to Ramsey. City Attorney Goodrich's research on the issue <br />of staff serving on the LRRWMO to address questions of the City Council: <br />Motion was made by Haas, seconded by Anderson, to authorize payment as,' presented :and <br />:. <br />indicated above. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />Update — Report on Outstanding Permit Balances — Jankowski <br />J reported on outstanding permit balances for the City of Ramsey 1) Permit #2001 -22, <br />Ramsey Organic: Included` on the September agenda; 2) Permit #2003 -11, White Oak Addition: <br />Unable to locate owner, sent to collection agency. <br />Haas reported on outstanding permit balances for the City of Andover: a) Permit #2004 -25, <br />Kimberly Oaks: Haas will contact the owner; 2) Permit #2005 -16, Ahlberg Driveway: Haas will <br />research (pe,.mit may be expired): <br />CONSIDERATION OF COMMUNICATIONS <br />Mr. Gerald. Ackerman, 15510 Zirconium Street, addressed the Board and stated his concern <br />regarding burning and dumping by his neighborr on the utility /drainage easement on the rear of <br />his lot He stated the : neighbor has buried cement, is _ dumping_ scrapings from his cement <br />business, and is burning: He stated the individual is basically using the land as a landfill He <br />stated he has sent pictures of the situation to Jankowski. <br />Jankowski discussed the history of the site of concern. He stated the City of Ramsey previously <br />pulled debris from this site that was discovered when the sanitary sewer was put through this <br />area. Previous complaints have been referred for investigation to the DNR Enforcement Officer. <br />�3 . <br />
