LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />August 20, 2.009 <br />Page 3 <br />He has also provided the MPCA with aerials and documentation on the site. He noted there <br />appears to be renewed dumping on the site. <br />Mr.: Ackerman reiterated his concerns and stated the situation has been ongoing for years. He <br />reviewed a police report stating that the individual admitted to regular dumping on the site He <br />has .contacted °Don Nelson of the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and Dennis Rodacker <br />of the Anoka Conservation District. <br />Jankowski stated he will obtain the police reports relating to this property and will contact Mr. <br />Ackerman once he is contacted by the DNR. He will also contact the Ramsey Police Department <br />regarding the procedure related to city code violations resulting from dumping on wetlands. <br />Enstrom stated a resident contacted him due to his membership on the Ramsey Environmental <br />Policy Board (EPB) to inquire about permit requirements relating to a resident putting a concrete <br />wall up to the river's edge. Jankowski stated shoreland regulations are included: in Chapter 9 of <br />the Ramsey City Code, which restricts this type of activity. Also, a permit is required from the <br />DNR for any work beyond the ordinary high water. He requested Mr. Enstrom to provide him <br />with the location so that he can look into the situation. <br />Jankowski - _reviewed the . correspondence and _notices included in.the Chair's Folder, noting they <br />do not require action. <br />Informational; no action required. <br />REPORT OF OFFICERS & .WAC ADMINISTRATION REIMBURSEMENT <br />2na Quarter 2009 Reports -. Anoka <br />Lee presented the Year 2009 2 Quarter Report for the City of Anoka; He reported. the West <br />Main Street Project is still under construction. The completion date is set for October 16, 2009. <br />Motion was made by Vierzba, seconded by Anderson, to approve the Year 2009; Second <br />Quarter Report for the City of Anoka, as presented, with the West Main Street Project not <br />included. Vote: 4 ayes, .nays. Motion carried. <br />Update. Permit #2001 -05 — Wiser Choice Liquor Release of Escrow <br />Jankowski: reviewed the release letter. to . Wiser Choice Liquors dated July 16, .2009 and the <br />approval of Obermeyer on the skimmer requirement being: removed from the permit <br />requirements: Discharge flows through a grass ditch before reaching the wetland; the ditch will <br />be maintained by the City of Ramsey. <br />Motion was made by Haas, seconded by Vierzba, to accept the release letter dated July 16, <br />2009 for Permit # 2001.05, Wiser Choice Liquors; Ramsey. Vote :. 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion <br />carried. <br />
